From Bench to Manuscript – Our Biomedical Scientific Advisors
Molecular & Translational Medicine
Our lead scientific advisor holds a PhD in Molecular Physiology from Italy, along with a Master’s degree in Genomics and Health and a Bachelor’s in Biology. With over five years of research experience in European academic and clinical environments, she has focused on oncology, neurodegenerative diseases, and molecular gene regulation, using both in vitro and translational models.
She has authored more than 10 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and contributed to collaborative European research initiatives. In addition to her own research output, she has served as a peer reviewer for dozens of manuscripts submitted to European and international scientific journals, providing expert evaluations in fields such as molecular biology, cancer research, and biomedical innovation. Fluent in Arabic, English, and Italian, she brings a strong foundation in scientific content development, grant writing, and academic editing.
Multilingual and multidisciplinary, she contributes significantly to Qalametrix’s capacity to deliver expert-level writing and editing in biomedical science, clinical research, bioinformatics, and beyond—bridging technical depth with clear scientific communication.
Regenerative & Translational Medicine
Our second scientific lead holds a PhD in Biotechnology in Translational Medicine from Italy, with a specialized focus on regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. Her academic foundation includes a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences with emphasis in forensic science.
She has contributed to international research efforts through roles in multiple European laboratories, including a secondment at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute in Spain as part of a Horizon 2020 program, where she worked on cancer RNA therapeutics. Her scientific strengths span translational medicine, molecular biology, oncology, immunology, epigenetics, and bioinformatics.
Beyond the lab, she brings strong experience in scientific and grant writing, having contributed to the technical development of Horizon 2020 proposals and gained certifications in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), clinical research protocols, and computational biology tools. Fluent in English and Arabic, and proficient in Italian, she is a key contributor to Qalametrix’s mission of delivering clear, credible, and field-specific support to researchers across disciplines.
